Sat, August 22, 2026: AUDITION Virginia Youth Ballet for fall children’s production of Alice in Wonderland

(Ballet students ages 9 years and older are encouraged to audition. Parent/guardian of dancers younger than 12 years and parents of dancers who have not previously participated in a Virginia Youth Ballet production must attend the mandatory meeting at the time of the audition.)

New this year- Dancers must preregister for the audition. A link to the preregistration form will be sent by email.

November 25-29, 2026 Classes break forThanksgiving Break (Advanced dancers may have Nutcracker rehearsals Friday, Nov 27 and/or Saturday, Nov 28 and select lead roles may have rehearsals Sunday, Nov 29)

Monday, December 7, 2026 Studio closed due to Winchester Holiday Parade road closures

December 7, 2026 Winter break begins for classes not in the Nutcracker. Classes that perform in the Nutcracker will end at the completion of the Nutcracker performances.

TBD - NUTCRACKER PERFORMANCES (Dates depend on school permission for performances. Could be as early as December 4, 5, 6 or as late as December 18, 19, 20)
